Landings Harbor

Operating Hours 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Daily

Labor Day weekend was hopping at the Marina!   The start of college football may have kept some away on Saturday afternoon, but Sunday and Monday made up for that!   We appreciate those who got in the habit this summer of using the BoatCloud App to notify us of your upcoming boat move requests. This truly helps us to keep things moving in an orderly fashion.

Our staff was spoiled by the kindness of our boaters with lots of food to keep them fueled up for the holiday weekend. This is always appreciated by our team members who are too busy to stop and take a real lunch break.

Staff met on-site with representatives from Terracon to discuss geotechnical services related to the dry storage rack system replacement project. We expect to have a proposal and scope of work before the end of the month.

Please note that we have gone back to our regular operating hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily.

Marina Ship’s Store

We would like to thank everyone that took advantage of our “End of Summer” Sale!    This enables us to make room for new items.  We’ll keep everyone updated through the weekly report and on our “Landings Harbor Marina” Facebook page as those items come in.  There will be a new long- sleeve solar shirt for men and women, new ball caps, light weight quarter zips and crew neck terry sweatshirts coming your way this fall!

Dry Storage

Landings Harbor wet, dry, and jet ski storage slots are at 100% capacity.    We continue to add to and maintain a waiting list for all slips.

The Landings Sailing Program

The Landings Sailing Club will host a Beer Can Race/Social this Friday, September 10.   They are always growing in numbers and welcome curious minds to come check out what they are all about.

The Skidaway Island Boating Club and the Yacht Club of Hilton Head Island will host the 6th Annual Hook Ocean Race on Saturday, September 18.  The Hook Race is the only open ocean sailing event in the Low Country.  The course will start at the Calibogue Sound off Hilton Head Island, head south past Tybee Island, head up Wassaw Sound and end at Landings Harbor Marina.  The sailing begins at 10 AM and will take approximately 6 hours depending on the winds.  It should be a beautiful site to see all the boats arriving at the finish.  All are welcome to come to the Marina to watch the end of the race.   For more information, please go to this website:  www.regattanetwork.com/event/20203

Landings Dry Storage Activity

Delegal Creek Marina

Operating Hours 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Daily

Delegal Creek Marina had a safe Labor Day, with a fair amount of boat traffic and fuel sales throughout the weekend. Our kayak launch was re-installed before the weekend and is performing as expected. All concrete sections of floating dock have been pressure washed and many people have noticed this improvement. Three spots are expected to open on C-Dock in the coming weeks, a glimmer of hope for our many waitlisted residents. The fuel system and all operations are running flawlessly here at the marina
