Road Work on Landings Way South Begins Monday, May 24
Beginning Monday, May 24, Bennett Paving is scheduled to begin milling Landings Way South starting with the Southbound Lane.
The Northbound and Southbound lanes of Landings Way South will be milled and paved in two phases. Barring any weather delays, we estimate the project to take three-to-four weeks to complete.
Phase 1: The Southbound Lane of Landings Way South from Huntingwood Retreat to The Palmetto Club Entrance
Landings Way South (the Southbound Lane) will be closed at Huntingwood Retreat to through traffic.
- Residents, guests, vendors, and contractors will use Peregrine Crossing for all southbound traffic.
- Residents that live off Landings Way South going northbound will be directed to follow the signage and traffic personnel’s directions. The Northbound Lane of Landings Way South will remain open. Residents who live on the connecting streets along Landings Way South between Huntingwood Retreat and the Palmetto Club will be allowed access during the milling portion on Landings Way South. However, please expect delays.
- For through traffic beyond the Palmetto Club Entrance and residents traveling to Black Hawk Trail, Wild Boar Crossing, Jessamine Lane, Sorghum Lane, Bluff Oak Retreat, Morning Mist Lane, will use Sorrelwood Crossing off Peregrine Crossing. Residents who use Yam Gandy, Sleepy Terrapin Lane, Firethorn Lane, Whimbrel Court, Scotch Bonnet Court, Cottonwood, Heartwood Court, and the Palmetto Club will use the Peregrine Crossing Detour.
Once Phase 1 milling nears completion, additional communications will be sent detailing paving detour instructions, etc.
Please inform your landscape contractors, visitors, delivery services and others, etc., of this project. During the paving portion please turn off your irrigation systems.
We thank you for your patience and support during this project as we continue to improve the roads and infrastructure throughout the community.
