Dog Bite Incident

Security responded to a residence for a report of a dog bite on Tuesday, November 17. The resident stated that he had been walking around the trail area of the dog park when a dog ran up and attempted to bite his hand. The man stated that he put his hands up, and the dog then bit his inner thigh and broke the skin. He did not want medical attention. Contact was made with the dog’s owner who was unaware that the dog had bitten anyone. The report was forwarded to Animal Services for further investigation.

 

Gas Leak

On Friday, November 13, a representative with USIC, an underground utility location company, reported a gas leak outside a residence on Breakfast Court. Atlanta Gas was notified and repaired the leak. The cause of the leak is unknown.

Vehicle Accident

Security responded to the parking lot at Delegal Creek Marina on Wednesday, November 11, for a report of a minor vehicle accident without injuries. Upon arrival, a resident stated that she had accidentally backed into another resident’s vehicle causing some damage to his rear bumper. Both individuals declined to call CCPD and agreed to handle the matter between themselves.

Suspicious Incident

On Wednesday, November 11, Security responded to a residence for a report of vandalism. Upon arrival, the homeowner stated that he noticed the bird bath in his yard was destroyed. He informed the officer that he believes the incident may be related to some conflict with another resident. Upon further investigation, the bird bath did not appear to be destroyed as stated by the resident but appeared to have fallen over and separated from the base. Additionally, there were no signs that someone had been on the property. The officer attempted to make contact with the other resident to see if they possibly saw anything; however, the attempt was unsuccessful.
