David Newton, MD Electrophysiologist, will discuss the prevalence of Atrial Fibrillation and the associated stroke risk. He also will share alternatives to blood thinners for stroke prevention.

The event begins with a social period from 5:30 to 6 p.m. where residents can enjoy light refreshments with the speaker and sponsor. The presentation will begin at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a Q&A session.
