On August 21, The first total solar eclipse to cross the continental United States since 1918 will be visible, in near totality in our own backyard, and The Landings Association invites you to celebrate with us at Landings Harbor Marina! Join your friends and neighbors at Landings Harbor's picnic area for a community viewing of this spectacular phenomenon. Protective eyewear will be provided on a first come, first-served basis. (There also will be a small quantity of protective glasses available at The Landings Association Administration Building on August 21.) The first signs of the eclipse should begin in our area around 1:15 p.m., with maximum eclipse at 2:45 p.m. and partial eclipse ending by 4:15 p.m. This is an experience that you do not want to miss!
