The February 4 program will featureTips for Selling your Home.

Selling a house is a big undertaking. And if you want to ease the process while also maximizing profits, then being prepared is key. Plan to hear from industry experts about the things you should consider prior to selling your home. Presenters will share information culled from their experience about what  top-of-mind concerns buyers are focused on when looking for a new home - and what sellers can do to prepare their home for sale. Knowledgeable about the home market in The Landings, they will offer insight into the current marketplace/home values, the local and regional competition and discuss particular issues pertaining to our community. Whether you are thinking about selling your home in the near term or down the road, or have questions about maintaining your home to current expectations, this program is for you.

A Landings resident will act as moderator and will guide the conversation and monitor the Q&A session.

Raoul has been President of The Landings Company, the wholly owned subsidiary of The Landings Association since March of 2014. He brings extensive knowledge about all facets of the residential real estate business having worked in franchising with Coldwell Banker, was Vice President of one of the country’s 50 largest real estate firms in Charleston, SC and was owner of the firm in Chapel Hill, NC that worked with the majority of the buyers and sellers of homes and homesites in Governors Club, a gated country club community with a 27-hole Nicklaus Signature course.

Will Thurman is a principal with Bay Street Realty Group, the only real estate company covering Beaufort and the Sea Islands, and the principal in Charge with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Savannah. He has been involved in the sales and development of multiple first-class planned communities and worked in all aspects of resort developments. He earned his Broker’s License in 2004, worked for Seger Land, a top RE/MAX producer in Georgia, founded Thurman Properties, LLC, and was Director of Sales for The Flagship Group in Austin, TX before returning to Beaufort and forming The Port Royal Redevelopment Group LLC in 2012.

Randy has been providing homebuyers and sellers with thorough home inspections for over 11 years. Though his detailed property investigation, he informs and assures his clients what to expect from their current or new home and delivers a comprehensive analysis of the home’s condition. Blake Caldwell

Moderator

Blake has lived at The Landings for 18 years.  She Chaired the committee that built Skidaway Farms, was on Public Works for many years and until January was a Director of TLA.  She currently is on the Dog Park Committee and the Center Island Committee.  She is a retired Pediatrician who spent her career at the CDC and is currently the Treasurer of Healthy Savannah.

The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Delegal Creek Marina's Sunset Pavilion and will be followed by a brief Q & A session.
