The Landings Association is pleased to present Sunset Sips, a monthly educational series to increase awareness of environmental issues impacting our area and what we can do to help.
The series begins by introducing residents to the environmental-focused nonprofit organizations of the Savannah area. Each session will feature one organization to provide an overview of its work as well as present any outreach or volunteer opportunities for residents.
The February 21 program will feature Chatham County Animal Services.
The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Delegal Creek Marina's Sunset Pavilion, with time for residents to mingle with the presenter and enjoy light refreshments (provided by sponsors) and purchase beer or wine (using Landings Association cookouts tickets, that can be bought for cash the night of the event, or by check or credit card from the Association's Administration Building in advance).
The presentation will begin at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a brief Q & A session.
